What is God's Plan of Salvation?

We believe the Bible is true when it says "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23)." Because of the sinfulness of every man in his natural state, each person will stand before God on judgment day and be declared guilty and worthy of judgment. However, God still loves each and every person, even though their sins have separated them from His holy character (Romans 6:23; 5:8).

The Bible also declares, because of His great love for us, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross as the payment for our sins. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "God made Him who had no sins to be sin for us." God's Word says that if a man will be sorry for His sins and believe that Jesus paid his sin-debt on the cross then he will be forgiven. Because of our faith, the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ will be credited to our account (Romans 4:24). The Bible calls this being "Born Again". When this happens God's Spirit comes into our life and starts us out on a grand journey of growth and service. This is the great adventure!
